Legacy vs. Future: A Legacy of Fundraising and a Future of Hope
For over a decade, Michael Brady has been the driving force behind this tournament, raising over a million dollars for Breakthrough T1D in the fight against Type 1. In 2024, we honored Michael for his incredible leadership, and now, in 2025, it’s time for his son, Phil Brady, to take the lead.
This year’s event is more than a golf tournament—it’s about a legacy of fundraising and a future of hope. Michael has built this tournament into a powerful fundraiser, and now, as he passes the leadership role to Phil, we celebrate the next generation stepping up to carry the mission forward. That future includes Marc Hann, who is beginning his journey with Breakthrough T1D after his daughter’s diagnosis in August 2024. He is proudly supporting Team Future, ensuring that new families and businesses are part of this movement.
The tournament will feature a morning flight for both Team Future and Team Legacy, teeing off at 8:30 a.m.. Both groups will come together for lunch at 11:30 a.m., offering a chance to connect, celebrate, and reflect on our shared mission. To make the most of the experience, attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy Turning Stone Casino and Resort—whether the night before or the night of the tournament—making this not just a day of golf, but a truly memorable event.
